Fifth Grade and Centers

Students work in centers to complete mini projects.
Center A is typing- fifth graders need to practice typing
Center B is Students create diagrams on (a free Internet program)
Center C is vocabulary– students search the Internet to define animal classification vocabulary words.
Center D is a creative center- students create a mobile for Animal Classification.
Center E is Question sheets- students’ research on the Internet to fill in the answers.

Sixth Grade- Xtranormal Projects

Students created animation videos using Students wrote scripts that included ten vocabulary words (integrating Technology and Language skills). They were given creative freedom to pick their characters, settings, voices, and camera angles. Since the program is web based, students were able to work on the project at home.

Students wrote, directed, produced, filmed, and edited the video. This was their first time to create a video. This was a learning process for everyone involved.
