Third Grade Avatars!

Third graders wrote poetry for their Avatars which were emailed to parents. Students created Avatars with www.voki.com.

Students went on-line to http://www.buildyourwildself.com/
to create the wild creatures. The creatures were used to inspire stories. The students wrote stories and recorded their stories with their picture on VoiceThread. To hear their stories go to http://www.voicethread.com/ and search Shlenker.

Fourth and Fifth Grade Movies

Fourth and Fifth grade students created videos for Internet Safety. Fourth grade students created a video for Cyberbullying/Bullying while fifth graders created one for their kindergarten buddies and siblings. Click on the link below to watch these wonderful movies. Enjoy!

Third Grade Searches on the Internet

Students searched the Internet using a variety of search engines such as: Google, Yahoo, Fact Monster, and Infoplease.com to find four facts about their animal. Students used their critical thinking skills to find the correct information about their animal. They copied and pasted the information into a Microsoft Word document and cited sources. Students also inserted a picture from the Internet, resized it and used text wrapping too. Some students used WordArt to create the title and name for the project.
They did a great job!
